EEEEEEK we won one!

Remember we said that we were picked as finalists for the Hertfordshire Digital Awards 2015? Well we are very proud to say that we won a silver award for the best use of video for business! Whoop ! Whoop !



The competition was fierce with so many great businesses with talented people behind them that had got through to the final, so, we were shocked to have scooped an award considering how new our business is as we only launched in May 2014.

The animations that show our customers why our clothing is ethical and sustainable got us selected and entered into this category so this is proof to other small start ups like ourselves that it helps to think about other ways you can help your business grow apart from just having products or services. Customers like honest, clear messages as it builds trust  and at tommy & lottie we want to have a environmentally conscious brand that shows why we are just that.

Being creative and that old cliche, “think outside the box “is important to grow your business and entice customers to your website. Creating more of a story about your business is key,  helping you grow and giving you so many more PR avenues and exposure.

We are living in a digital world and it’s time to embrace it. For an example, both my children Tommy & Lottie when having ‘screen’ time watch age appropriate YouTube videos probably more than anything else!  Being able to watch something that’s quick and simple and while on the move, as everyone’s time is so much more limited so doing something like a short video or animation is worth while and it doesn’t have to cost the earth either.
